This collection of Saber Kawala Arabic neys represents the high-end work of the Egyptian artisan Saber Kawala, internationally recognized for the quality of his neys and kawalas.

Each instrument is handcrafted by the artisan himself from natural reed carefully selected for its regularity, thickness and vibrational quality. Saber Kawala now favors reeds that are generally wide and generous, in order to create instruments that are more stable, more comfortable and richer in sound.

The ney is a demanding instrument whose quality depends greatly on the choice of reed, the precision of the drilling, the overall balance and the accuracy of the instrument. Saber Kawala neys are designed to offer a beautiful response, good sound stability and a warm, expressive and authentic tone.

Each ney is signed with the “Saber Kawala” stamp, a mark of handcrafted production, inspection and sound quality. This signature identifies instruments coming directly from his workshop.
