Product Details

This model features a single-soundhole sharki configuration, giving it a direct, focused and highly expressive character. Its tone is particularly deep, dark and inhabited, with beautiful density and a strong personality.

Its main particularity lies in its full mahogany construction, both for the bowl and the soundboard. This is an unusual configuration in the oud world, giving the instrument a warm, woody and deep tonal color, with a very distinctive grain.

The bowl work is especially elegant, with fine black purfling lines highlighting the ribs of the oud and giving it a noble, sober and refined appearance.

The wenge fingerboard offers excellent playing comfort and beautiful visual coherence with the rest of the instrument, while the ebony pegs contribute to the overall build quality and tuning stability.

With its elegant aesthetic, rare full mahogany construction and dark, deep sound character, this Amro Mostafa oud will appeal to musicians looking for a different, expressive and highly distinctive sharki oud.
