The bowl is made of ebony, an extremely dense wood that is very rarely used in oud bowl making. This prestigious material not only offers a remarkable visual presence with its dark, deep reflections, but also contributes to a particularly rich sound, with powerful bass response and excellent projection.

The cedar soundboard brings warmth, depth, and expressiveness to the instrument’s tone. Cedar is especially appreciated for its fast response and its ability to produce a round, full sound, perfectly suited to musicians looking for an expressive and nuanced voice.

This model also stands out thanks to its single soundhole configuration, a less common feature on traditional ouds. This acoustic design favors deeper resonance and especially present low frequencies, giving the instrument a very distinctive tonal character.
