Its wenge wood bowl delivers warmth, depth and acoustic stability. Dense and expressive, wenge contributes to strong bass response, present midrange and the powerful character typical of Egyptian ouds.

The carefully selected spruce soundboard ensures fast response, excellent projection and natural harmonic richness. The combination of wenge and spruce results in a powerful, warm and well-balanced tone, perfectly suited for traditional and expressive Middle Eastern playing styles.

The narrow bowl design is one of this instrument’s key advantages. It significantly improves ergonomics and comfort, especially for players seeking a more compact instrument, for women, or for musicians less comfortable with large traditional bowls.

The ebony fingerboard and ebony pegs provide reliable tuning stability and solid playing comfort. The blue mother-of-pearl inlays around the rosettes, pickguard and body edges add an elegant decorative touch, making this an aesthetically refined instrument at a reasonable price.
