This oud is made by the luthier Khaled Halabi in Canada, we find the typical oriental sound "Sharki" with all the strength of Rosewood wood, the sound is particularly powerful and deep with sublime mosaic finishes. Luthier Khaled Halabi comes from a lineage of luthiers in Syria, he now makes his ouds in Canada and draws inspiration from Middle Eastern know-how, as well as new Western manufacturing techniques in order to make good quality ouds with a typical oriental sound but with modern finishes.
