The Akaral model stands out thanks to its elegant black and mother-of-pearl geometric decoration. The handcrafted mosaic patterns give the instrument a refined oriental appearance inspired by traditional Middle Eastern decorative art.

The Sombaty shape is particularly appreciated in Egyptian and Lebanese styles. Thanks to its larger size and heavier weight, this darbuka provides excellent stability and allows musicians to produce deep, powerful bass tones.

With its imposing dimensions (48 cm height and approximately 6.2 kg), the instrument delivers strong projection and a wide dynamic range between deep bass tones (doum) and sharp tones (tek and ka).

Before shipping, every instrument is checked and adjusted by our team to ensure optimal sound quality.

The darbuka comes with a padded gig bag for transport, a spare drumhead and a tuning key.
