DARBUKA: Dohola Range

The collection Dohola is one ranges derbouka less common and yet it is found in all Eastern orchestras. A dohola is characterized by its large size, a skin of 26 or 27cm and a very deep sound. It is generally derboukas of accompaniment serving as rhythmic basis for the soloists.
