Egyptian Wooden Daf 40 cm
€150.00
This 40 cm Egyptian wooden daf by Gawharet El Fan is an excellent choice for percussionists looking for a precise, responsive and expressive frame drum.
Unlike deeper katem-style models, this daf has a shallower wooden frame, giving it a faster response, a more direct feel and greater playing precision. This makes it especially suitable for solo playing, fast rhythmic phrases, ornaments and all techniques that require clarity and control.
Its wooden body provides a warm and natural sound, while the mounted Power Beat Pro head brings a clear attack, a precise tak and a clean overall tone. The result is balanced, lively and responsive under the fingers, with good projection.
Visually, this daf also stands out with its beautiful oriental marquetry work, giving it a traditional, artisanal and elegant appearance. It is a musical, comfortable and highly practical instrument for percussionists looking for an efficient daf for solo performance.
